Google gives interface Android Auto update with adaptive design
Google has adapted the interface of Android Auto so that three panels can be seen with information. The largest panel shows traffic information, while there is also a panel for audio controls and Google Assistant. The panels adapt to the size of the screen.
This new design ensures according to google that Android Auto users have to scroll through apps less often while they are in the car. The design also adapts to any screen in the car, even if it is a wide or very narrow built-in screen. The new interface still retains a navigation bar, at the bottom or left, allowing users to still open other apps or notifications, as well as read the smartphone battery percentage.
Google has not given an exact date on which the new version of Android Auto will be rolled out. The video suggests that Android Auto users will see the new interface appear before the summer.
