The analyst firm writes that production of screens for the iPhone 15 models started in June. In October, this was even 71 percent, according to Display Supply Chain Consultants.
The analyst firm concludes that there is increasing demand for Pro models and states that the average sales price of iPhone 15 models is currently 5 percent higher than that of the iPhone 14 smartphones in the period June to October 2022.
Samsung Display is the main supplier of screen panels for iPhones. In October this year, the South Korean company made 74 percent of all screen panels that were subsequently placed in an iPhone. LG Display accounted for 25 percent.
