Download Mozilla Thunderbird 45.2.0

The Mozilla Foundation has released an update to version 45.2.0 of Thunderbird. Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source email and newsgroup client, with features such as support for several mail and news accounts, a spam filter, spell checker, and a customizable look and feel. Version 38 includes oauth2 authentication for Gmail, the Lightning calendar add-on is now included as standard, and filters can also be applied to sent and archived messages. The following issues are fixed in this update:

• Miscellaneous memory safety hazards (rv:47.0 / rv:45.2)
• Invitations to events could not be printed
• Dragging and dropping of contacts from the contact list onto an addressbook while All Addressbooks is selected moved only one contact
• Falsely reported not enough disk space during compacting: fixed
• Links were not always detected properly in the message body (terminated early on “|”, some long links not detected at all)
