Apple offers some 3D films for Vision Pro in the test version of the Apple TV app
Apple offers some 3D versions of films via the Apple TV app for the tvOS 17.2 beta, including Jurassic World Dominion and Warcraft. The upcoming Vision Pro headset, which is not yet available in the Benelux, supports displaying video in 3D.
Users can use the updated Apple TV app in the tvOS 17.2 beta to find certain films with a 3D logo and the profile of Vision Pro glasses. according to FlatpanelsHD. Apple previously announced that the upcoming AR headset will support 3D movies as well as the new Immersive Video format. Previously, a fragment of Avatar: The Way of Water was shown in 3D during demos of the Vision Pro. For the time being, according to FlatpanelsHD, that film is not marked as 3D in the Apple TV app. It is not clear when Apple will make 3D movies available to all users. The Vision Pro will be available early next year for $3,499, initially in the US and later in other countries. It is not clear if and when the glasses will be released in the Benelux.
