Download AIMP 4.00 build 1697

An update for version 4.00 of the media player AIMP has been released. This free Russian-made lightweight media player has support for the most popular music formats. The appearance resembles the well-known Winamp and can be adjusted by means of skins. AIMP has an 18-channel equalizer on board and supports plugins. Furthermore, the program can rip CDs, convert music files and edit tags. In version 4.0, AIMP has been given a new look and support for Windows XP has been discontinued. The following improvements have also been made in this update:

• Common: 3rd party libraries have been updated
• Playlist: the “%!” macro is now affects to next macro, not to entire formatting line

Fixed:

• Playlist – lose focus after quick search
• Tag Editor – some genres are duplicated after the re-opening of the window
• Tag Editor – an AV exception occurs sometimes when renaming group of files
• Music Library – navigation via short links does works incorrectly (regression)
• Music Library – no way to scroll list of labels via scroll bar if one of labels is selected
• Music Library – table view – sorting resets to defaults after restart the app
• Plugins – API – an error in the IAIMPExtensionPlaybackQueue.OnSelect method (regression)
• Plugins – Last.fm – no line breaks for details in the “Track Information” dialog
