Download Macrium Reflect 6.1.1000

Paramount Software has released a new version of Macrium Reflect, the fourth already this month. This program can create a disk image of a partition or hard disk. Macrium Reflect is free for private use, but there are also paid performances. They offer different extras, such as being able to do a file backup or an incremental backup, encryption, and restoring a backup to different hardware than it was created on. The standard version costs 45 euros, the pro version 60 euros and the server edition goes home for 193 euros. Since version 6.1.909, the following changes and improvements have been made:

New

• A new option has been added to SQL Restore to improve the process of restoring to either original or alternate locations.

Bug Fixes

• A rare timing issue could cause a crash when Windows shutdown was invoked at the end of a backup. This has been resolved.
• Attempting to use an NVMe device in PE 10 could cause driver detection issues during rescue media creation. This has been resolved.

Macrium Reflect 6.1.936

New

• A new option in the Windows PE rescue media wizard enables automatic decryption of Bitocker encrypted volumes when Windows PE starts. It’s also possible to provide a BitLocker Encryption Key (BEK) file on USB stick for additional security. Please see this KB article

Bug Fixes

• When restorng a Windows system drive, the presence of the Windows 10 boot menu was missed to enable auto-restore. This has been resolved.
• Rapidly repeated clicks of the ‘Refresh’ link could cause a program error. This has been resolved.
