Cooler Master Introduces New Version GeminII S524 Cooler
Cooler Master has unveiled its GeminII S524 V2. The revision of the GeminII S524 would yield lower temperatures than the original due to the use of copper for the heatpipes. The noise production would also be lower.
The difference compared to the GeminII S524 is that Cooler Master has equipped the V2 variant with its Continuous Direct Contact heatpipes. These five copper 6mm heatpipes form the baseplate at the end, where they are in direct contact with the CPU.
According to Cooler Master, this leads to temperatures that are on average 7 degrees Celsius lower. In addition, the manufacturer bundles the cooler with a 120 mm fan in the Silencio FP PWM series for lower noise production. Cooler Master also uses this fan in the Silencio 652S case and the Nepton 120XL/240M water cooling.
Finally, there are gaps at the points where the heat pipes intersect the cooling fins. These lead to an effective and parallel distribution of the heat. The GeminII S524 V2 is available immediately in the US. When it will be released in the Benelux and for what price is not yet known.
