Images of the suspected LG G4 have surfaced. The images, on what would be a LG marketing site, show the G4 with, among other things, a leather back, a removable battery and micro-SD card slot.

The leather back would be an option: there would also be three color variants with a plastic back. The site containing the images had the url g4.xfb.kr. The site is now offline, but parts of the site can still be seen via Google Cache and Web Archive. Former ‘phone-nice’ EvLeaks discovered the website.

While the domain xfb.kr does not have a site itself, multiple marketing sites can be found on the domain, including that of a world-renowned fast food chain. The site is registered in the name of the South Korean company X-Mark, which states on its own site that it has done online marketing for LG and builds sites for the manufacturer around devices.

The site also refers to the G4 as ‘P1’, which appears to be a code name. Furthermore, the specifications on the site are apparently those of last year’s LG G3, while the images and texts seem to refer to the G4.

The images show the G4 as a device with a convex back in various colors. The site also mentions a micro-SD card slot and removable battery, two elements that Samsung has just dropped with its new top model Galaxy S6.

LG will present the G4 on April 28 at its own event that will take place in various cities. The manufacturer has already announced several components of the device separately, including the screen and the camera.
