Google tests Inbox for business use among Google Apps users
Google has started testing its Inbox application among business users. Persons who have access to Google Apps for Work can access the Inbox application with the help of an invite.
Until now, the use of Inbox, an email client that Google claims makes email more efficient, was limited to Gmail users who had gained access. But Google seems to want to speed up the rollout of Inbox. For example, the internet giant announced last week that Inbox has also been made compatible with iPad and Android tablets, while the service can now also be accessed via the web with Firefox and Safari.
Google has now announced that it also wants to introduce business users to Inbox via the invite program that was used previously. For the time being, a relatively limited group will still have access, but in the coming months Google promises to let more Apps for Work users test the service. It is not yet clear when the service will be rolled out more widely.
