This is a laptop containing an Xbox One and a PS4

A hacker has screwed together a laptop with both a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox One in the housing. The ‘PlayBox’ won’t be a laptop you can just buy, but the hacker says he might make more than this one.

The housing of the laptop houses both the Xbox One and PS4 hardware, combined with a 22″ screen from Vizio. Both consoles work in the prototype that Eddie Zarick made for a customer. Due to the risk of overheating, you can not use them at the same time.

There are a few minor compromises to make it all fit. For example, the touch-sensitive button on the PS4 does not always work and the Xbox has no USB ports. Switching between the Xbox and the PlayStation works via a red switch on the back of the laptop.

Zarick created the PlayBox at the request of a specific customer. It won’t be a laptop of which he wants to sell many, but he does not rule out making more.
