Sony will pull the plug on X/Twitter integration for PlayStation on November 13

Sony will stop integrating X, formerly Twitter, on PlayStation consoles on November 13. The Japanese company does not mention a reason for this decision.

PlayStation users will no longer be able to post direct messages to the social media platform from that date. They can no longer visit the platform. The measure applies according to Sony for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users. According to Sony, PlayStation users who still want to share content via X can do so via the console’s other sharing options.
