Download qBittorrent 4.0.2

Version 4.0.2 of qBittorrent has been released. This open source torrent client has versions for Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD, and shows no ads. The program is with Qt developed and based on libtorrent (raster bar) and boost. The program is the brainchild of French student Christophe Dumez, who has been working on it since early 2006. Today it is maintained by the community.

In version 4, among other things, the switch from Qt4 to 5 has been made and the program has also been given a new appearance and logo. Furthermore, the program can be used in portable mode, torrents can now also be shared for a certain time and not only until a certain percentage is reached, and the screen in which you can create torrents yourself has been overhauled. The following improvements have also been made in this second update:

bug fix:

• Fix crash on some systems when creating address object for 255.255.255.255. Close #7735.

Performance:

• Change MixedModeAlgorithm default to TCP. This was the v3_3_x default and should sustain higher speeds. Close #7779.
• Stop logging IP filter parsing errors after a while, otherwise the GUI freezes or qBittorrent doesn’t start.

GUI:

• Implement stable sort. Rows in transfer list shouldn’t flicker anymore.

WebUI:

• Fix build when webui is disabled. (Heiko Becker)

RSS:

• Fix build because of missing header. Close #7805. (thoradia)
• Fix RSS parser.
• Implement Import/Export RSS rules in legacy(aka v3_3_x) format.
• Implement Import/Export RSS rules in JSON format.

Windows:

• Fixed blurry text under Windows by setting DPI awareness to default. (TheNicker)

Linux:
