Rumor: House of Wolves Destiny expansion coming March 10
A photo of Destiny’s future DLC is circulating on the internet that was allegedly taken at a developer Bungie meeting. It is unclear whether the image is authentic. The new expansion pack should be released on March 10.
The first expansion pack, The Dark Below, was released in December and House of Wolves should be released on March 10. A Reddit user inferred that from a photo that appeared on an Italian Bungie forum. Another user claims to have owned the image for some time, but the Italian blog in which he mentions it went undetected for months. It is therefore possible that the information is now outdated. House of Wolves would contain a number of new maps, three story missions, a Strike and a Raid, according to an English-language Bungie forum.
The Comet: Plague of Darkness expansion, however, is getting more attention. It would be a major expansion that may also be released on a disc. The pack is rumored to be released in September 2015 and will include new maps. In addition, Bungie is rumored to be adding 12 story missions, as well as four Strikes, a Raid, and six new PvP maps. There is also talk of an unnamed location.
Bungie would release two more expansion packs after September 2015, but even less is known about them. For example, it is unclear which extras the expansions entail. A release date cannot be deduced from the image either. It was recently announced that Bungie is working on the successor to Destiny and the game has nearly 13 million players.
