Download Mozilla Camino 1.0.1

The Mozilla Organization has updated its web explorer for the Mac OS X platform, Mozilla Camino, with 1.0.1 as the version number. This web explorer uses Cocoa for the user interface and the well-known Gecko engine to render web pages. In addition, the program includes tabbed browsing, a popup blocker and a Google search field. Camino 1.0.1 is a security and stability update for Camino 1.0 users; all users are recommended to upgrade. Since the 1.0 release, we have made the following changes and improvements:

• Fixed several critical security issues, including those fixed in version 1.8.0.3 of the Mozilla Gecko rendering engine.
• Upgraded the bundled Java Embedding Plugin ( to version 0.9.5+d
• Improved ad-blocking, especially of German ads
• Enabled the opening of local SVG files
• Fixed an issue where Camino on Intel-based Macs was unable to read Keychain entries stored by Camino on PowerPC-based Macs.
