Nintendo will release the final wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC circuits next week

Nintendo will release its sixth and final ‘wave’ of DLC circuits for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC on November 9. Like the previous five loads, this wave contains eight new circuits. The game will also have four new playable characters in the sixth wave.

The eight new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks will be divided into two new cups: the Acorn Cup and the Spiny Cup. evident from a trailer. This includes Rainbow Road and Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii, DK Mountain from Double Dash, Rosalina’s Ice World from the 3DS, Bowser’s Castle 3 from the SNES and Madrid Drive, Rome Avanti and Piranha Plant Cove from smartphone game Mario Kart Tour.

In addition, the game will have four new playable characters next week: Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline and Peachette. The Mii characters also receive new racing outfits. All new content will be available to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe players starting Thursday, November 9 with the Booster Course Pass DLC pack.

Wave 6 is the latest batch of DLC circuits to be added to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Nintendo released its Booster Course Pass DLC pack last year. The release of new tracks was divided into six waves, containing a total of 48 additional tracks and several new characters. With the DLC pass, the number of circuits in the racing game has been doubled to 96. The DLC package is only available for the Nintendo Switch. It costs 25 euros and offers access to all six DLC loads.
