Mastodon now supports personalized lists in the Android app
Mastodon’s Android app now supports personalized lists. These lists allow users to categorize followed accounts based on specific topics. Content that appears in a list will disappear from the feed on the homepage.
The Android app’s homepage has also been revamped to “enable easy navigation between the homepage, lists and followed hashtags,” writes Mastodon founder Eugen Rochko in a blog post. It is unknown when personalized lists will become available to iOS users. Lists were already available via the web version of Mastodon.
Mastodon is a decentralized social medium that is seen as an alternative to the former Twitter, X. Other alternatives include Bluesky from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and Threads from Meta.
