The manufacturer’s website does not mention any specifications in terms of color rendering. Presumably the screen has an 8-bit panel with frame rate control. The S34A650 has a refresh rate of 100Hz. The screen supports FreeSync, with a range from 48 to 100Hz. Samsung provides the monitor with a DisplayPort 1.2 connector, an HDMI 2.0 connector and a USB-C port with support for power delivery up to 90W and DisplayPort alt mode.

The screen also has a 3.5mm jack for audio, three USB 3.0 type-A connections, and an RJ45 Ethernet connection. It allows users to connect a laptop without an Ethernet connector to the screen to use wired internet. The included monitor stand is height adjustable and can be rotated and tilted. The screen weighs 7.6 kilograms including monitor stand.

Samsung has not yet officially announced the S34A650, so it is not known when the screen will be released in Europe. However, Germany’s ComputerBase noted that the screen is already on the website of a Danish retailer. At the time of writing, the screen costs about 630 euros, although the actual suggested retail price is still unknown. According to the Danish webshop, the screen will be released on April 13.
