AOC releases curved 27 “1440p monitor with 240Hz panel for 799 euros
AOC has announced the AGON PD27 monitor in collaboration with Porsche Design. The screen will have a 27 “VA panel with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The monitor has a curvature of 1000R and costs 799 euros.
According to the manufacturer, the va panel in the AOC AGON PD27 monitor has a gray-to-gray response time of 1ms, or 0.5ms mprt. The screen has a contrast ratio of 2500: 1 and a peak brightness of 550cd / m². The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and has FreeSync Premium Pro support, with a range of 48 to 240Hz.
The monitor has a curvature of 1000R, which is equal to the curvature of a circle with a radius of 1 meter. AOC targets gamers with the monitor and provides the screen with an OSD with various settings for different types of games. AOC also includes a wireless keypad that is equipped with hot keys to adjust the display settings.
At the bottom of the monitor are RGB LEDs, with which a logo can be projected. The screen is equipped with four USB 3.2 connections with Type-A connector, two HDMI 2.0 inputs and two DisplayPort 1.4 connections. AOC will release the screen in November for a suggested retail price of 799 euros.
