Xfire released version 1.99 of its chat program of the same name a while ago. The program is mainly intended for avid gamers, and makes it possible to chat via text and speech both inside and outside games. Furthermore, statistics are kept of the performance in various games, you can see which games the people from your contact list are currently playing and game patches and demos can be downloaded via your own p2p network. Currently, more than 1250 games are supported, 191 of which are the so-called ‘one click join‘ and over 800 ‘in game chat‘ support.
