In addition to a new whql version of their Geforce drivers, Nvidia developers have also released a new set of beta drivers, which can be recognized by version number 180.42. These support the Geforce 8800, 9 and 200 series video cards. What exactly has changed remains unknown due to the lack of a full announcement or a list of changes, but the following is stated on the download page:

Version 180.42 beta:

• Beta driver for GeForce 200-series, 9-series, and 8800-series desktop GPUs.
• Recommended for the best experience on Far Cry 2.
