Download Gizmo Drive 2.6.6

Arainia Solutions released version 2.6.6 of Gizmo Drive a few days ago. With this program, image files of CDs and DVDs can be mounted as a virtual drive. By creating multiple virtual drives, there is no need to constantly change discs, and access to data is generally faster. Gizmo supports image files in the iso, bin, nrg format, but also vhd files from Microsoft’s Virtual PC are no problem. The short list of changes from version 2.6.6 looks like this:

• Fixed a bug which kept the ‘read only’ option from appearing correctly, on the Image Mounter setup screen

Version 2.6.4:

• Added safeguards to attempt and fix ‘System based error occurred’ in XPSP2 environments
