Signal allows editing of messages

Signal allows you to edit messages after sending. That option comes out a few months after WhatsApp already did so.

Signal confirms on X that that function is there. earlier That feature was already in beta. Editing posts had been going on for over five years one of the most requested feature requests.

Users can always see if a message has been edited by tapping on it. A history of changes will then be shown. Competitor WhatsApp has had such a function for months.
