Rumor: Google is working on a foldable phone under the name Comet

Indications have been found that Google is working on a second foldable smartphone. It would have the code name Comet.

The codename is listed in the Pixel Buds app, reports 9to5Google. It is placed together with the Pixel Fold, which makes it likely that it is a foldable smartphone. Moreover, the codename is separate from the themes for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 9 generations, making it obvious that this is a separate release. Google has previously said it wants to make more foldable phones. It is not possible to determine from the information whether the Comet would be a Fold 2 or whether it is, for example, a Pixel folding phone.
