Cherry comes with a Stream keyboard with scissor switches and ten hotkeys. According to Cherry, the keyboard is mainly aimed at office use. The Cherry Stream is available from October and has a suggested retail price of thirty euros.

Cherry announced the Stream keyboard via Twitter. The keyboard uses SX switches. According to the Deskthority wiki, these switches have a key travel distance of 2.5 millimeters. Cherry claims to have improved the SX switches, making them quieter than the scissor switches in the previous generation of Stream keyboards. The keyboard has ten hotkeys, which function as media keys and can start certain applications, among other things. It is also possible to lock a computer with a hotkey. No software is required to use these hotkeys.

The Cherry Stream is equipped with a metal backplate and eight rubber feet, which should prevent the keyboard from sliding during use. The Stream has a minimalist design and has a flat shape thanks to the use of scissor switches; the keyboard is 18 millimeters high. Black and white models are available.

Cherry is best known for its mechanical MX switches, but has been making keyboards with scissor switches for a long time. For example, in 2015 the company released the Cherry Stream 3.0. The new Cherry Stream will be released in October and has a suggested retail price of thirty euros.
