Oppo releases Reno Ace smartphone with 90Hz screen and 65W fast charging
Oppo will introduce the Reno Ace smartphone on Thursday. The device has a screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and supports fast charging with a power of 65W. The phone will be released in China soon. Whether the device will also be released in Europe is still unknown.
The Oppo Reno Ace has a 4000mAh battery that supports the fast charging technology. According to Oppo, this allows the smartphone to be fully charged in half an hour, Android Authority writes. Charging from 0 to 27 percent takes about five minutes, according to the company. Oppo previously announced that the Reno Ace will support 65W fast charging.
The phone contains a Snapdragon 855 Plus soc and has variants with 8 or 12 GB of ram. The device offers 128 or 256 GB ufs 3.0 storage. The phone has a 6.5″ OLED screen with a full HD resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen also contains a teardrop notch with a selfie camera, while the previous Reno smartphones from Oppo have a pop-up selfie camera. display has a refresh rate of 90Hz, just like the 7T from sister company OnePlus.The 7T will also be officially released on Thursday.
The Reno Ace has a primary camera with imx586 sensor from Sony. This sensor has a resolution of 48 megapixels. The device also has an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 13-megapixel zoom camera. The Reno Ace also has a camera that takes monochrome photos with a resolution of 2 megapixels.
The Reno Ace will be released in China soon. According to Android Authority, the smartphone will cost 3199 yuan for the model with 8GB of ram and 128GB of storage, which translates to about 408 euros. A variant with 256GB storage and 8GB ram costs 3399 yuan and the model with 12GB ram and 256GB will cost 3799 yuan. This amounts to 433 and 484 euros respectively. Since it is not yet known whether the Reno Ace will also come to Europe, no official euro prices have yet been announced.
