Qualcomm confirms suspected OnePlus 3T with Snapdragon 821

Chip designer Qualcomm has confirmed that a device from OnePlus will arrive with a Snapdragon 821 soc on board. In addition, customer service seems to confirm the existence of the OnePlus 3T against a tweaker.

Qualcomm calls specifically the Snapdragon 821 soc in a public tweet, which must have been put online with the knowledge and consent of OnePlus. There have been rumors for weeks about a variant of the OnePlus 3 with a Snapdragon 821 soc.

OnePlus customer service says in a conversation with tweaker AnonymousWP twice that it cannot say when the 3T will be released. In the first answer, the customer service representative mentions the phone by name, the second time only that he cannot say when the device will be released on the market.

A week and a half ago, smartphone good Evan Blass already hinted that there would be a 3T from OnePlus. It is unknown what exactly the changes will be compared to the OnePlus 3, which came out this summer. That device has been poorly available several times since its release.
