Mozilla Foundation has released the fifth update for SeaMonkey version 2.0. SeaMonkey is the continuation of the former Mozilla Application Suite and consists of a web browser and programs for e-mailing and reading news. In addition, there is a simple HTML editor. Unlike the Mozilla Application Suite, SeaMonkey is maintained by the community, while the Seamonkey Council oversees maintenance. Version 2.0.5 has fixed some security vulnerabilities and bugs, added new translations and updated the help files.

• Security fixes
• Fixes for a number of non-security-relevant crashes, increasing the stability of the whole platform and the Mail & Newsgroups part of SeaMonkey
• New available languages: British English and Simplified Chinese
• Some updates to the in-product help content
