343 Industries to release fix for Halo: Infinite matchmaking issues
343 Industries will soon be rolling out a patch for Halo: Infinite’s Big Team Battle modes. The modes have been struggling with matchmaking issues for some time. It is not yet known when the patch will be released.
When starting Big Team Battle matches in Halo: Infinite’s multiplayer, players experience various error messages and apparent bugs. This would especially happen when big teams try to enter the Big Team Battle matches. Multiplayer modes with fewer players don’t seem to be affected by errors.
343 Industries has found the cause of the problems and has a solution for it, the company writes in a forum post. The developer does not say what the cause is. A release date for the fix has not yet been announced. 343 says the patch won’t be available this week, but will be released “soon.”
The company also says it is also working on “a fix against cheating.” This one wants to release 343 in mid-February. The developer writes that more information about the patch will follow by then.
