Halo Infinite’s campaign co-op and Forge mode have been postponed. Those two parts would be released at the start of Season 2 and 3 of the game, respectively, but with the season 1 of the game, those parts have also been moved.

Recently, developer 343 Industries announced that the first season of Halo Infinite’s recently released multiplayer will be longer than planned: originally it was supposed to run for 3 months, but now it’s going to be 6 months, ending in May. The developer still plans to release the game’s co-op mode in Season 2, which simply means that moment will also shift, just like it does with Forge mode. The developer tells Eurogamer that.

When Halo Infinite’s single player campaign comes out on December 8, it will therefore only contain the storyline, for a single player at a time. The co-op mode, a regular feature in Halo games since the 2001 original, for the first Xbox. The Forge mode has been in the games since Halo 3, from 2007. It’s a multiplayer level editor, which has been made accessible to average users. The created levels are easy to share online with others.

The complete Halo Infinite game was previously delayed; the game was initially scheduled for late last year, but 343 Industries decided to postpone the title by a year. Now the parts are released cascaded; the free multiplayer has been available on Windows and Xbox since November 15 and the paid single player will follow early next month. Support for split-screen multiplayer and the campaign is also planned, although they don’t have a concrete release date.
