2K extends alpha from Evolve
Publisher 2K extends the test period of Evolve until November 4. The publisher is doing this because PlayStation 4 users were unable to test the game over the past weekend due to technical problems.
The publisher began rolling out Evolve’s so-called Big Alpha on October 30 for Xbox One owners and 24 hours later for PlayStation 4 and PC users. However, the test version of the game on Sony’s console suffered from technical problems. The recently released firmware update was the cause, says 2K. The most crucial bugs have now been fixed and Evolve should also be playable on the PlayStation 4.
2K reports that it has increased server capacity for the PlayStation 4, but on Monday morning the publisher indicated that there are still problems with matchmaking. That would still be worked on. The Big Alpha extension also extends to Xbox One and PC players.
