2D platform game Sonic Superstars will be released in October

Sonic Superstars releases on October 17th. SEGA announced this during the Gamescom trade fair in Cologne. The arrival of Sonic Superstars was already known, but the game did not yet have a concrete release date.

SEGA confirms Sonic Superstars release date a new trailer, which also shows multiplayer gameplay footage; the game can be played with up to four players. Superstars will have 3D-style graphics, but 2D gameplay, just like the classic games in the Sonic franchise. The game was announced in June for an autumn release. The game will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
