Developer No Code will release its science fiction thriller Observation on May 21 for the PlayStation 4. In the game, players are the artificial intelligence of a space station. The game is inspired by the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Players must discover what happened to Dr. Emma Fisher and the crew of the space station in Observation. In addition, they gain control of the station via SAM, the artificial intelligence on board. Sony showed a story trailer during its State of Play broadcast and announced that the game will be released on May 21 for the PlayStation 4. The game is available for 25 euros on the PlayStation Store.

In October last year, the game was announced and then the game was also on Steam. The game is no longer available on Steam, only the announcement is still there. It is not clear whether there will be another PC version, the developer and publisher are not saying anything about that at the moment. The publisher may have chosen a different platform to release the PC version, but the game isn’t currently on the Epic Game Store either.
