1DayFly.com expects to be able to make a quick restart
The promotional site 1DayFly.com, which is experiencing financial difficulties, expects to be able to make a new start soon. The interest in a restart would be ‘overwhelming’. The site was granted a moratorium on payment on Thursday.
The administrator and the board of 1DayFly.com are investigating the possibilities of restoring the offer site or restarting the company. According to the administrator, Martijn Vermeeren, lawyer at the legal office Buren, there are ‘several interested parties’ who have already reported.
If the interest leads to a relaunch, the site could ‘be back up and running in a short time’. Last Thursday, the court of The Hague granted a postponement of payment to 1DayFly.com. A day earlier, the site already informed customers that it could no longer meet its payment obligations.
Founded 12 years ago, the site offers six to nine product promotions to consumers every day, which last for one day. According to the administrator, the website has 16,000 to 45,000 visitors per day.
